Louisville accepting applications for EMT Recruit Class

Training begins in January

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Sept. 13, 2016) — Applications are being accepted for an EMT Recruit Class in Louisville. EMT Recruits attend a paid training—from January to March 2017—in preparation for obtaining an EMT Certification. Successful recruits will be moved to a full-time, permanent EMT position upon certification as an EMT.

No previous experience is required, but recruits must be able to complete the 180 hour EMT course and obtain the EMT-Basic certification from the State of Kentucky.

All applicants must be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED), not have been convicted of a felony and possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
