Multiple media outlets are reporting that FedEx is set to hire 500 workers in Northern Kentucky this holiday season.
The company expects to add more than 50,000 seasonal positions throughout its networks.
At the Fedex facility in Independence, FedEx is looking to hire more than 500 package handlers, drivers and other support positions.
The majority of these workers will work in the Fedex Ground division. Last year, more than one third of the package handlers hired at FedEx Ground facilities retained employment with the company at the conclusion of the holiday season.
