Registration deadline May 20
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (March 30, 2017) — Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College is hosting Chef Camp for Kids from June 5-8 for children ages 8-12. The registration deadline is May 20.
Sessions, which are from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day, involve cooking, sanitation, safety in the kitchen and nutrition, focusing on healthy eating and being physically active.
Campers will learn the history of chefs and cooking utensils and the need-to-know core subjects such as math. They also will prepare dishes such as pizza from scratch, spaghetti and meatballs.
Approximately 100 kids will take part in this year’s camps.
