Americans for Prosperity-Kentucky

FRANKFORT, Ky. — Americans for Prosperity-Kentucky announced Michael Conway as its new state director. Conway previously served as the grassroots group’s deputy state director.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to lead this organization and work alongside the Bluegrass State’s best activists,” said Conway. “I look forward to deepening my commitment to working with individuals from all walks of life, in communities all across the Commonwealth, to ensure they have the tools needed to solve our country’s biggest problems from the ground up. A version of Kentucky that gives everyone the same chance to succeed is within reach – we just need to work toward it together.”

A resident of Boyle County, Conway has nearly 30 years of policy, government affairs, and membership service experience. Prior to joining AFP-KY as deputy state director in 2018, he served as associate director for the National Lieutenant Governors Association, and served in key roles for organizations such as The Council of State Governments and the American Legislative Exchange Council.
