Registration open for World Trade Center Kentucky’s international trade certification program

FORT MITCHELL, Ky. (Feb. 25, 2013) — Registration is open for the 3rd Annual International Trade Certification program, hosted by World Trade Center Kentucky and the Northern Kentucky International Trade Association.

logoThe three-day program, May 22-24 at the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, leads to the certification of International Commerce Specialist. It will be taught by experts from banking, tax, legal, customs compliance, market intelligence, freight forwarding, customs brokerage and government. The program will provide the foundation for effective and efficient management of a company’s international trade operations. In addition, the program is designed to develop skilled professionals in international trade that can spearhead the future growth of U.S. trade.

The program is intended for persons working in international sales, international marketing, international logistics, international trade compliance, U.S. Customs compliance, credit management, accounting, finance and economic development.

The certification program covers the following topics: Market Entry Strategies and Global Market Research; International Legal Considerations; International Payment and Export Financing; and Import/Export Compliance and Logistics.
