Stephens Manufacturing Co., a Tompkinsville concrete plant manufacturing company, has announced plans to build a new 19,800-s.f. facility in Burkesville to accommodate the company’s current and projected growth. The $2.5 million facility is expected to initially employ approximately 20 workers and grow to double that number within four to five years. The company employs approximately 130 people at its plant in Tompkinsville, where it has operated for more than 50 years. The new Burkesville plant is expected to be operational by this fall.
