RICHMOND, Ky. (Dec. 14, 2012) – Richmond-based accounting firm Baldwin CPAs this week announced a merger with Christopher L. Hatcher, CPA, a professional services firm located in Louisville, Ky. The combined firm will retain the Baldwin CPAs name, and the merger will bring the company to 25 employees total.
With plans to grow in the region and hire 10 new employees within the next two years, the merger offers Baldwin CPAs a strong foothold in the Louisville market.
“We are excited to expand our accounting and consulting services to the strong and vital business community in Louisville,” said Alan Long, managing partner of Baldwin CPAs. “The merger is part of Baldwin’s plan to grow in the region as we support local industries such as construction, banking and manufacturing. Our current clients will greatly benefit from Christopher Hatcher’s knowledge and experience in fraud protection, business valuation, expert witness and forensic accounting.”
The merger is effective Jan. 1, and the firm will maintain offices in Richmond, Louisville, Maysville and Lexington.
