LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 17, 2014) — The Louisville Regional Airport Authority will receive up to $8 million in improvements.

The airport, which has nonstop service to more than 22 destinations and flew nearly 3.4 million passengers in 2013, will get lighting and flooring upgrades and new escalators and artwork for the passenger terminal.

The airport has not received significant terminal upgrades since 2004.
