17-06-21 Entrepreneurs Bootcamp - UK Venturew Studio - new graphicLEXINGTON (June 28, 2017) — The Entrepreneurs Bootcamp Program organized by the Von Allmen Center for Entrepreneurship, part of the University of Kentucky’s Gatton College of Business and Economics, is now pre-screening project ideas for the fall 2017.

Project idea applications are open to all UK faculty, staff, post-doctoral fellows, current students and community entrepreneurs.

The boot camp runs all semester, beginning with the opening session at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, in the Gatton College, with several sessions being located off campus to mimic expectations of what it takes to be an entrepreneur. Sessions will continue 5-6:30 p.m. every Thursday following.

While the camp is of no cost and is not for academic credit, it offers hands-on experiences through its various sessions.

For more information about Entrepreneurs Bootcamp, its success, how to submit an application and a copy of last year’s schedule, go to http://vace.uky.edu/venture-studio/BootcampSchedule.php.

Applicants will be contacted via email to set up an initial screening of your project idea between June 30–July 14.
