LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 3, 2012) — The state’s two largest universities and two of the largest distilleries will announce Aug. 7 the expansion of a partnership to strengthen alcohol awareness education programs at the University of Louisville and University of Kentucky as well as communities across the commonwealth.
A news conference announcing the initiative and substantial gifts from Beam Inc. and Brown-Forman Corp. will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, in Lutz Hall on UofL’s Belknap Campus.
