Clark Memorial Hospital and Scott Memorial Hospital unveil new brands

New, consistent brand identity highlights affiliation with Norton Healthcare and LifePoint Health; strengthens alignment between two hospitals

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. and SCOTTSBURG, Ind. Clark Memorial Hospital and Scott Memorial Hospital, which are part of Regional Health Network, a Norton Healthcare and LifePoint Health partnership, Wednesday announced they are changing their names to Clark Memorial Health and Scott Memorial Health as they unveil a new brand identity.

The hospitals’ rebrand initiative signifies the many meaningful ways the facilities are impacting the health and wellbeing of their communities beyond the hospital walls and across the continuum of care. It also reinforces their affiliation with health systems Norton Healthcare and LifePoint Health, which provide access to a wealth of resources, expertise and support for both facilities.

Both part of Regional Health Network, Clark Memorial Health and Scott Memorial Health have been collaborating for quite some time, exploring how they can share resources to improve access to high quality care across the region; more effectively develop the services that their communities need; better support physicians; and create new opportunities for professional growth for staff. For the first time, they also share a consistent brand identity, further demonstrating their alignment and commitment to working together to provide high quality care for the region.

“We are excited about starting this new chapter as Clark Memorial Health,” said Martin Padgett, CEO of Clark Memorial Health. “We believe that our new identity is better representative of the many ways we serve our communities and how we collaborate to improve the health of Southern Indiana. While our name is changing, our mission of Making Communities Healthier stays the same, and our focus on advancing this mission is stronger than ever. With our unified brand in place, we look forward to further strengthening our relationship with our colleagues at Scott Memorial Health, continuing to grow together and collectively focusing our efforts on keeping care local as we serve the health needs of this region long into the future.”

In addition to the main hospitals, the facilities’ physician practices, clinics and associated centers also will adopt each respective brand identity.

“We know that collaboration is key to providing the highest quality care for our communities,” said Mike Everett, CEO of Scott Memorial Health. “We couldn’t be more proud to work with our colleagues at Clark Memorial Health to ensure that this level of care is always available close to home when our patients need it most. Rebranding our facilities to more visually demonstrate our alignment with one another and our shared connection to Norton Healthcare and LifePoint Health is a meaningful change that signifies our strength across the region and our coordinated approach to caring for the communities we are privileged to serve. We look forward to a very bright future as Scott Memorial Health.”
