Lexington Marriott City Center names executive housekeeper

LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Lexington Marriott City Center Hotels has announced that Joe Elliott has been named executive housekeeper at the Lexington Marriott City Center and Residence Inn Lexington City Center.

“Joe is an amazing addition to our team,” said Jason Perkins, director of operations. “His passion and expertise will ensure an amazing experience for our guests and team members at the Lexington City Center Hotels.”

Elliott grew up in a small town in Western Kentucky and started working in the hotel industry once he graduated high school. He attended the University of Kentucky and received a bachelor of science in hospitality Management and tourism. He has worked in multiple positions in the hospitality industry.

“I feel that my hands-on experience and being a good listener has made me successful in life, and I plan on utilizing my experiences to be a positive influence on my team,” said Elliott.

In his role as executive housekeeper, he will oversee a key department in the overall success of the Lexington Marriott City Center and Residence Inn Lexington City Center.
