LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Horizon Commercial Realty has promoted Sonya Smith to director of property management.
Smith brings over 15 years of commercial real estate property management experience. She joined Horizon in 2014 as a property manager, establishing a growing management portfolio of 850,000 s.f. of commercial office, retail and industrial space over the past five years.
As director of property management, she will lead the Property Management and Maintenance Department and oversee all facets of the day-to-day operations of our 2,000,000-plus s.f. property portfolio. This includes budgeting and all communication with owners, tenants, vendors and suppliers. She will also directly coordinate and assign off-site tasks for the firm’s expanding property maintenance department.
Smith has acquired over 15 years of property management experience in and around the Louisville region. She received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana University Southeast.
