12th annual Sanders-Brown Health Summit going virtual

LEXINGTON, Ky. — The 12th annual University of Kentucky Sanders-Brown Mind Matters Health Summit will take place virtually from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Monday, May 18.

During this unprecedented time, the event will take place through Zoom to allow for proper physical distancing. As in years past, this event will focus on brain health and older adult wellbeing and strategies to maximize both. Additionally, presentations will include information relating to life during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Experts will share their knowledge on the following topics:

  • “Staying Active while Social Distancing”
  • “Nature and Wellbeing”
  • “COVID-19 & You: Staying Safe”
  • “LATEst Discoveries and Directions in Alzheimer’s Disease Research”
