Ale-8-One now offering new seasonal orange cream flavor

Limited Time Only

WINCHESTER, Ky. — Ale-8-One has announced it is releasing its most popular seasonal soda flavor. The Orange Cream Ale-8-One will be in select locations only in June.

The brand, which has been around since 1926 and is the only soft drink invented in Kentucky, has only featured two new flavors — aside from the classic citrusy-ginger drink, it introduced cherry ale in 2018, and orange cream was released last summer.

The soda features notes of orange and vanilla cream and uses the secret family recipe that is present in all of the brand’s varieties. This flavor contains 120 calories per bottle and, like the rest of Ale-8-One sodas, is made with no artificial flavors or sweeteners.

“Ale-8 fans in our core market have been requesting Orange Cream since it ran out last summer,” said Ale-8’s COO Ellen McGeeney. “We are excited to bring it back this year with expanded availability, the timing feels right for a flavor that reminds us of nostalgic feelings of dreamsicles and simpler days. We are pleased that beginning in June it will be available in Kentucky while supplies last.”

The seasonal drink is available at Kroger, Walmart and Meijer stores with a limited supply that will not be replenished. It is also available online through ale8one.com.
