Baldwin CPAs welcomes three new employees

Kelsey Johnson joined Baldwin CPAs in January 2019 as an intern and was hired on full-time as an Accountant in May 2020.   Kelsey works in our Lexington office.   She is a 2020 Graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Public Accounting. Kelsey resides in Winchester Kentucky with her husband Seth and her cat named Izzy and a new puppy named Neo.

 

 

 

Bob Moreland, CPA joined Baldwin CPA’s in June 2020.  Bob is a tax manager with the firm and has been in public accounting for almost 20 years. In addition to being a member of the AICPA, the Kentucky Society of CPA’s and the Ohio Society of CPA’s, Bob also serves on the board for two non-profit organizations.  The Forecastle Foundation, an organization with the mission of protecting environmental hotspots, and Allclimbers.org, an organization that uses rock climbing as a means of therapy for people with mental and physical disabilities.  Bob will work primarily in the Louisville office. When he’s not in the office you can find him rock climbing, biking, kayaking, in the mosh pit at a concert, or working on restoring one of his old cars. Bob has two sons, Max, who is a public defender for the state of Colorado, and Colin, a senior at The Ohio State University majoring in Art Technology.

 

 

 

Katie Hunter, CPA, joined Baldwin CPAs in July 2020 as an Audit Manager at the Louisville office. Katie has been in public accounting for 11 years, earned a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky.  She is a member of the AICPA, Kentucky Society of CPAs, and also serves on the KYCPA Women’s Initiative Committee.

As a Louisville native, Katie enjoys exploring local distilleries and wineries with her friends and spending time with her family. She also enjoys boot camp workouts, hiking, and amusement parks.
