IPS Logistix receives Homeland Security Investigation partnership award after providing alerts on 20 shipments

ERLANGER, Ky. – IPS Logistix has received the HSI (Homeland Security Investigation) 2020 Outstanding Partnership Award. This award is presented to companies for exemplary partnership in the furtherance of public safety.

Last year, CEO Darrel Lyell initiated a strategic partnership with HSI to ensure his company was not participating in the shipment of illegal goods out of the United States. RAC NKY provided guidance on prohibited items and regulations regarding parcel services.

VP of Operations Whitney Lyell observed and alerted HSI to 20 suspicious shipments during FY20, which allowed HSI NKY to develop these alerts into multiple leads and controlled deliveries on a variety of weapon components being exported to numerous countries.

The award was presented by Section Chief H. Ray Shulter and the local CVG HSI team.

“IPS Logistix has developed an exceptional reputation in all domestic and international markets we operate in,” Lyell said. “This award is a key example of IPS Logistix’s commitment to secure and thorough services we provide our customers, in which we can give them peace of mind.”

IPS Logistix continues to expand operations throughout the United States with an East Coast Operation in New Jersey and West Coast Operation in the works.
