Machine tool maker Mazak adds distribution partners in key target markets

FLORENCE, Ky. — For better customer support, Kentucky-based advanced machine tool maker Mazak has made strategic changes to its distribution network on April 1, 2023. Pioneer Machine Sales now provides sales and service support for Mazak customers in Arkansas and Oklahoma, while long time Mazak distributor A.W. Miller Technical Sales, Inc. expanded its territory to serve customers in Eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and the Southern half of New Jersey.

The company’s territory expansion will increase Mazak customer access to solutions and support in a broad range of industries to improve innovation and efficiency.

Miller, “and this territory expansion continues to grow that relationship. In line with supporting those area customers, we’ve purchased a new facility in Harleysville, Pennsylvania, that will allow us to provide regular programming classes in the Philadelphia area, and we are expanding our service footprint with additional service technicians. In addition to new service technicians, several former Mazak personnel will also join A.W. Miller. Former Northeast Territory Direct Sales Manager Bill Tully will join A.W. Miller to provide continuity in the transition. Jeremy Trout will assume the role of District Sales Manager, and Nate Howell will become Sales Manager.

Customers in the Eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and Southern New Jersey markets can also take advantage of Mazak’s Northeast Technology Center in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. That facility works closely with manufacturers from all industry segments, with a special focus on the medical and jet engine/aerospace sector to generate innovation for increased productivity and efficiency.
