Kentucky Science Center elects new board members

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Kentucky Science Center recently named several new members to its Board of Directors and Young Professionals Advisory Board. Hailing from various industries, these new Board appointees will use their expertise to help lead the Kentucky Science Center to fulfill its mission of encouraging people of all ages to explore science in everyday life.Kentucky Science Center’s Board of Directors members hail from across the Commonwealth and serve for a minimum of three years. Young Professionals Advisory Board members are under 40 years old and serve for a minimum of two years. Each Board member provides a primary link between Kentucky Science Center and their local business, organization and community. They are essential to the organization’s strength, and each serves an important volunteer role. Kentucky Science Center’s goal is to provide rewarding and enjoyable Board service and help Board member’s leverage their special skills, talents, and connections on the Science Center’s behalf.New Kentucky Science Center Board Members for FY2024 include:

  • Henry Eng, GE Appliances
  • Sean Horton, UPS
  • Autumn Kidd, Ex-Officio Member, UofL Health–Jewish Hospital
  • Andrew Renda, Humana
  • Christine Rieser, Caesar’s
  • Christien Russell, Thrivent
  • Kyle Miller, Denton’s Bingham Greenbaum
  • Billy Taylor, Papa John’s

New Kentucky Science Center Young Professionals Advisory Board Members for FY2024 include:

Kentucky Science Center is located at 727 W. Main Street on Louisville’s historic Museum Row and is open seven days a week from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
