LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Jan. 31, 2013) — Greater Louisville Inc. – the Metro Chamber of Commerce, announced today that Jamie Dimon, chairman of the board and CEO of JP Morgan Chase, will be the keynote speaker at its 2013 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, March 19.
Dimon has served as the chairman of JP Morgan Chase since December 2006, and has been chief executive officer and president since December 2005. He serves on the board of directors of the New York Federal Reserve and has been named as one of Time Magazine’s World’s Most Influential People in 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2011.
“Mr. Dimon is renowned for his leadership skills and keen understanding of the world economy,” said Craig J. Richard, president and CEO of Greater Louisville Inc. “We are honored to have him speak at our upcoming annual meeting. We know our members look forward to hearing his insights and perspectives on achieving business success in a globally-connected world.”
GLI’s 2013 Annual Meeting, presented by Yum! Brands, Inc., is set for Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Galt House Hotel & Suites Grand Ballroom. The evening includes networking, an awards program and a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception.
