LEAD GLI names inaugural Leadership, Engagement, Action, Development class members

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Aug. 29, 2013) – The LEAD GLI Inaugural class was announced Thursday by Greater Louisville Inc.—the Metro Chamber of Commerce. LEAD GLI is a new business leadership development program specifically for GLI Top Investor companies and their employees.

gliThe six-month LEAD program provides participants with the opportunity to increase their personal network of connections, enhance their business leadership skills, and develop a greater understanding of the community’s economic development strategies in the areas job creation, entrepreneurial development, human capital, public policy and marketing Louisville.

The LEAD GLI Inaugural Class of 2013 includes the following 20 members: Abbie Gilbert, University of Louisville; Deon Carr, Koetter Construction; Elisabeth ‘Libby’ Gray, Middleton Reutlinger; Greg Raque, Payment Alliance International, Heather Hoehn, ID&A, Inc.; Jason Kempf, Brown-Forman; Jeff Calabrese, Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC; Jennifer Butt, ARGI Financial Group; John Marshall, Jefferson County Public Schools; Dr. Joshua Honaker, Norton Healthcare; Julie Mason, Dakkota Integrated Systems; Marianna Boyd, Whayne Supply; Marshall Butler, DMD Data Systems; Michael Abate, Dinsmore & Shohl LLP; Michael Hirn, Dinsmore & Shohl LLP; Randy Cummins, Harshaw Trane; Ruth Reid, Harshaw Trane, Sara Veenema, Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP; Spencer Blue, Freedom Metals, Inc., Todd Lanham, Wells Fargo.

LEAD GLI is scheduled to kick-off on September 19 with monthly half-day through February 2014.
