Miranda Denney promoted at Department of Juvenile Justice

20-year vet is new deputy commissioner

kentucky_seal_resizedFRANKFORT, Ky. (July 16, 2014) — Department of Juvenile Justice acting Commissioner Bob Hayter announced the appointment of Miranda Denney to deputy commissioner of Community and Mental Health Services position at the Department of Juvenile Justice.

Denney is a 20-year veteran of juvenile and social services, most recently serving as division director of Community and Mental Health Services for the Department of Juvenile Justice.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in corrections and juvenile services from Eastern Kentucky University and has a master’s degree in criminal justice.

Her appointment was effective July 1st.
