LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Sept. 8, 2014) — GE [NYSE: GE] announced today it has signed a definitive agreement to sell its Appliances business, headquartered in Louisville, Ky, to Electrolux. While there is still work to be done before the deal can be final, GE Appliances President and CEO Charles (Chip) Blankenship will hold a press briefing this morning to share what information the company can at this time.
