In addition, surface lots surrounding Diddle Arena, South Lawn Lot, Russellville Road Lot and on-street parking on Avenue of Champions will be reserved for the event.

Alternate parking is available at the Alumni Square Garage for the first 190 faculty/staff permit holders. The Topper Transit Red Line stops at the Augenstein Alumni Center on Center Street and provides transportation to buildings up and down State & Normal streets.

You may also park at other faculty/staff lots throughout campus as space is available — Service Supply Lot, Adams Street Lot, Kentucky Street Paved Lot.

Housing Parking Changes

The following Housing areas will be reserved for event use: The rear of Creason Lot (beyond the e-phone) will be reserved for bus and RV parking; the on-street parking on Avenue of Champions between the South Lawn Lot and the Poland Lot will be reserved for event use.

Vehicles must be removed from the reserved sections by 7:30 a.m. Friday (Dec. 5); vehicles remaining after 7:30 a.m. Friday may be issued a $35 fine and relocated.

Alternate parking is available in other Housing Lots or Commuter Lots on campus.

Levels 4-7 of PS1 will remain open for Housing permit holders.

Commuter Parking Changes

Parking Structure 2 and the rear of Creason Lot will be reserved exclusively for event parking.

Vehicles remaining in the reserved section of Creason Lot after 7:30 a.m. Friday (Dec. 5) will be fined $35 and relocated.

For Dec. 5, all student permits will be honored in all student Commuter or Housing lots.

Alternate parking is also available in Park and Ride Lots at South Campus or the Downtown Parking Garage at the intersection of Eighth Avenue and College Street.

Transit Park and Ride Information

South Campus: White Line route provides service every 6-8 minutes to main campus from 7:15 a.m. to 6 p.m. Green Line continues service to South Campus until 10 p.m.

Downtown Garage: Red Line route provides service every 10-12 minutes to main campus.

Campus Traffic Changes

For event safety, Avenue of Champions will be closed to through traffic at 9 a.m. Dec. 5-6. Only event traffic, University vehicles and disability permits will be allowed through. As a result, there will be no access to the Poland Lot or Avenue of Champions Housing Parking during the events. Levels 4-7 of PS1 will remain open for Housing permit holders.

After each football game, WKU Police will control numerous intersections to divert event traffic off campus. Plan to use State and Normal streets to access campus.
