Planned $24 million nursing care center to open in Cold Spring

Will bring 200 skilled jobs to area

COLD SPRING, Ky. (Dec. 12, 2014) — Carespring Health Care Management will host a ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony for its new nursing care facility in Cold Spring on Dec. 22. The new 94,500-s.f. facility will bring 200 new skilled jobs to the area.

carespringGov. Steve Beshear, along with State Rep. Dennis Keene, Judge-Executive Steve Pendery and other elected officials and business representatives are expected to be in attendance for the ribbon cutting, which is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

The $24 million new facility includes 143 beds for nursing and rehabilitation care and will specialize in short term rehabilitative care and long term nursing care and will include a combination of private rooms and private companion suites.

The building will also house activity, dining and rehabilitative facilities as well as a Starbucks Coffee Shop that is standard with all of Carespring’s health care facilities.  In keeping with the Carespring project name tradition, the new facility will be known as Coldspring Transitional Care Center.
