UK premiering wine documentary at 4 p.m.

Will appear on KET beginning March 29

revealLEXINGTON, Ky. (March 23, 2015) — The University of Kentucky is showing the premier of the half-hour documentary “Thrive: The Kentucky Wine Tradition,” at 4 p.m. today at the Davis Marksbury Building.

University of Kentucky Research Communications/Reveal and the Center for Visualization and Virtual Environments collaborated on the film that explores how UK is supporting the growing Kentucky wine industry through grape and wine research. The film premieres at 3:30 p.m. on March 29 on KET.

The film features Talon Winery and Vineyards, Equus Run Vineyards, Harkness Edwards Vineyards, Wight Meyer Vineyard and Winery, First Vineyard Winery and Horseshoe Bend Vineyard and Winery.
