Keeneland will host simulcasting on Preakness Day, Saturday, May 19. First post is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., with the Preakness Stakes (G1) scheduled for 6:18 p.m. Gates open at 9 a.m. Grandstand mutuel windows open at 10:15 a.m. Drive-thru windows open at 8 a.m. Parking and general admission are free.
Grandstand concession areas will be open. In honor of the Preakness, crab cakes and the “Black-Eyed Susan,” the official drink of the Preakness, will be served in the Paddock. In addition, the Blue Grass Room is open for dining reservations. Admission cost is $3. Call the ticket office at 1-859 288-4213 for more information.
Advance wagering for the entire Preakness Day card will be available at mutuel windows beginning at 11:45 a.m., Friday, May 18. The drive-thru will open at 8 a.m. and will take Preakness advance wagers at that time.
