Edgewood, Ky. – St. Elizabeth Healthcare has named Vera Hall as its new Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Executive.

In this capacity Hall will drive the company’s strategy for nursing and patient care services to ensure the consistent standards of patient care and quality for excellence.

Hall has more than 26 years of healthcare experience, with her most recent 12 years being at St. Elizabeth inclusive of four years with St. Luke Hospitals. She began her career as a registered nurse, and two years into that role, became a nurse manager. Her scope of responsibilities soon increased as did her vast and diverse experience at St. Elizabeth.

These include the roles of Nurse Educator, Manager of Interventional Radiology and the Vascular Institute, Director of Vascular Services, System Director of the Heart & Vascular Institute, and Assistant Vice President of Patient Care Services and the Heart & Vascular Institute, where she helped develop and lead the system’s heart health strategy for the Northern Kentucky community.

“Vera has served our organization exceptionally in the past two years as our Assistant Vice President,” says Gary Blank, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “She has made many contributions to St. Elizabeth including her efforts with the integration of the patient care service areas and outpatient services throughout Northern Kentucky. In addition, Vera is a strong nurse advocate with both clinical and business experience that can help support and push nursing forward in the changing landscape of healthcare.”
