Rupp Arena home to Sweet 16 and Elite 8
LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 22, 2016) — The No. 3 seed University of Kentucky (25-7) women will host No. 7 seed Washington (24-10) at 7 p.m. on Friday in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16.
UK advanced to the Sweet 16 with a 79-58 victory against Oklahoma, while Washington upset No. 2 seed Maryland 74-65.
The UK game will be followed by No. 1 seed Notre Dame (33-1) taking on No. 4 seed Stanford (26-7).
Friday’s winners play at Rupp Arena for a spot in the Final Four.
