West Louisville Resource Fair scheduled for Thursday

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 9, 2017) — The West Louisville Resource Fair will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Louisville Urban League. The event for youth and adults includes free job training, summer job opportunities and help with obtaining a GED or paying for college.

Participants can sign up for free training and referrals for jobs in construction and manufacturing. Youth and young adults will be able to register for the Mayor’s SummerWorks program and get help in earning their GED and going to college. They can also connect with the REimage program, which provides help to youth and young adults who have been involved in the court system.

Admission and parking are free.
