HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. (June 8, 2017) — Northern Kentucky University has launched an online graduate certificate program in Total Worker Health to help human resource professionals and those in management improve the overall health and well-being of their employees.

“The courses provide a coordinated, consistent, and cohesive body of knowledge focused on initiating and sustaining programs for change at the organizational, team and individual levels,” said Dr. Bill Attenweiler, MSIO program director and associate professor. “Another focus is to enhance job design for safe and healthy work performance; and applying healthy and safe work systems, policies and practices in all occupations and industries.”
The 18 credit hour certificate can be completed in one year. The online program includes six courses offered consecutively on a year-round basis. Students can begin at the start of any of the courses. The first two start dates are Aug. 21 and Oct. 18. In order to qualify, applicants must have completed a bachelor degree program.
