Gov. Bevin makes appointment to Kentucky boards and commissions

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Oct. 30, 2017) – Gov. Matt Bevin today made the following appointment to Kentucky boards and commissions:

Kimberly Thapar has been appointed to the Kentucky Housing Corporation Board of Directors.

  • Kimberly Thapar, of Edgewood, is a realtor. She will represent the interests of real estate practitioners and serve for a term expiring October 30, 2021. 

The Kentucky Housing Corporation, the state housing finance agency, was created by the General Assembly to provide affordable housing opportunities. As a self-supporting, public corporation, Kentucky Housing offers lower-than-market rate home mortgages, housing production financing, homeownership education/counseling, rental assistance, housing rehabilitation and supportive housing programs for special needs populations.
