MOREHEAD, Ky. (Dec. 14, 2017) – The National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS) has announced Morehead State University’s Bill Redwine, assistant vice president for auxiliary services, has joined the board of directors of the NACAS Foundation.
The NACAS Foundation is a non-profit, charitable 501(c)(3) corporation formed for the sole purpose of supporting and promoting the auxiliary services profession through NACAS. The foundation supports the professional development and leadership opportunities necessary for NACAS members to be successful as they support higher education through auxiliary/campus services in an ever-changing environment. Through support of members and business partners, the NACAS Foundation has been able to help fund new professional development programs, assist in improving technology, support scholarships, provide research funds and support the CASP certification.
Having served multiple leadership roles with NACAS over the past few years including president of NACAS-South and president of NACAS, Redwine is committed to the ongoing growth of the auxiliary services profession. The association is the largest auxiliary services support organization serving higher education. Founded in 1969 as the National Association of College Auxiliary Services, NACAS is a professional trade association that supports the non-academic segment of higher education responsible for generating business through a diverse array of campus services that students need and value – such as food services, bookstores, housing and transportation. As the leading organization supporting all campus services, NACAS is the community-of-choice for strategic leaders who advance campus environments to improve the quality of life for students.
Redwine is active in the Morehead community with the Morehead Optimist Club, St. Claire Foundation and St. Claire Healthcare where he serves as a member of the board of directors. He and his wife, Susette, have two grown children.
