Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board welcomes new board member

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 25, 2018) – The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board has announced the addition of Daniel Mason as a new board member. Mason will serve a four-year term on the airport’s 10-member board. As the chief lending officer for Traditional Bank, Mason leads all aspects of lending related to Traditional Bank’s loan portfolio and serves on the executive leadership team responsible for strategic planning, risk management, asset/liability management, regulatory compliance, policy review and community development.

Prior to his position at Traditional Bank, Mason served as vice president at Central Bank & Trust. Mason is actively involved in the community and serves as the board chairman for Child Care Council of Kentucky. Mason has also previously served as the treasurer for Community Action Council, Urban League of Lexington-Fayette County and Life Adventure Camp.

The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board is the governing body for Lexington’s Blue Grass Airport. Its volunteer members are appointed by the Mayor of Lexington and approved by the Urban County Council.
