LEXINGTON, Ky (July 30, 2018) – Xooker, the mobile retail loyalty and rewards services provider base in Lexington, announced today it is raising capital for market expansion, with investment bank Maxim Group as exclusive placement agent.
“We are raising a bridge round of capital to expand into another three to five markets before our series A round,” Xooker CEO Conrad R. Carney II said in a news release.
New York-based Maxim Group LLC, a full-service investment banking, securities and wealth management firm, in fall 2017 launched M-Vest.com, an online marketplace for the distribution of securities in Regulation A and Regulation D offerings. Xooker was selected to be the first emerging tech company to raise private capital on the M-Vest platform.
A division of Maxim Group, M-Vest takes the entire offering process online by giving issuers a platform to conduct offerings and raise capital. Investors have the ability to review offering documents, open an account, and invest directly online through the M-Vest website.
