LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Lexington Marriott City Center and Residence Inn Lexington City Center hotels are set to open in the fall of 2019. Located at 121 West Vine Street and 150 West Main Street, the hotels are owned by City Center Hotels, a company owned jointly by The Webb Companies and Greer Companies, and will be managed by NorthStar Hospitality LLC., both of Lexington, Ky.

The Marriott Hotel and Residence Inn will offer a combined 336 guest rooms and will be the first new full-service premium and extended stay hotel to open in downtown Lexington in more than three decades.

“This $220 million-dollar mixed-use development is the largest and finest private project ever undertaken in Kentucky and will be an absolute game changer for our region,” said Dudley Webb, chairman of the Webb Companies. “City Center will be a world-class destination where people can work, stay, live and play in the heart of the Bluegrass, the world’s largest private national park.”

The hotels will share some amenities including a state-of-the-art fitness center, a virtual fitness studio with Fitness on Demand, and over 10,000 s.f. of flexible Next Gen Meeting Space. Guests from each hotel will also have access to the rooftop pool, and sky bar above the Residence Inn.  They will be serviced by a three-story, 700 space, underground parking structure. The hotels will serve as a social hub for visitors and guests and will be the ideal venue for meetings, special events, weddings, galas and corporate gatherings.
