LOUISVILLE, Ky. — William H. (Bill) Brammell Jr. has been named a partner in the Louisville office of DBL Law where he practices primarily in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, and white collar criminal defense.
Prior to joining DBL Law, Brammell clerked for Gregory F. Van Tatenhove in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. Before clerking, Brammell worked and lived in Washington, D.C., where he was a presidential management fellow. During his time as a PMF, Brammell worked at the State Department, the Department of Justice, the Attorney’s Office, and at the Agency for International Development.
Brammell holds a J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law, a masters of science in Democracy and Democratization from University College, London, England, and a B.A. in political science from the University of Louisville, where he served as student body president.
Brammell serves on the Home of the Innocents Associate Board and a number of other standing committees, the Kentucky SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) State Counsel, and the NLC (New Leaders Council) State Board.
