LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts announced Thursday that Christian Adelberg has been promoted to vice president of marketing and communications.
Adelberg will be responsible for leading all marketing, communications, interactive, public relations, audience engagement, branding and box office operations.
Prior to joining The Kentucky Center in 2012, he worked for nearly 20 years in television news and entertainment marketing. During that time, he worked at WAVE 3 (NBC) and WHAS 11 (ABC) in Louisville, WWAY-TV/WBW in Wilmington, N.C. and WXIX-TV (FOX) in Cincinnati. During his television career, he received three Ohio Valley Regional Emmy Awards.
Originally from Alabama, Adelberg grew up in Louisville. A graduate of St. Xavier High School and Bellarmine University, he started his career in television news marketing at WAVE 3 TV in 1993.
