Bowling Green

By wmadministrator

General Motors has announced that 2009 will be the final year of production for the Cadillac XLR, a specialty sports car produced at GM’s Bowling Green Assembly Plant. Sales of the vehicle, which is priced beginning at about $87,000, decreased 28 percent in 2008, making it an obvious elimination for a company in dire need of cutting costs. GM expects to end production of the XLR sometime this spring. The decision will impact about 40 employees.
