KFC Yum! Center seeking to hire 150 at Oct. 20 job fair

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The KFC Yum! Center is looking to fill more than 150 positions at the job fair event on Wednesday, Oct. 20 in the arena’s front lobby from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The sports and entertainment venue is seeking to fill 150 openings on its concession, event security, housekeeping, guest services and conversion teams. Applications will be accepted on-site and interviews will be conducted on the same day.

The housekeeping team members will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the arena during sporting events, concerts and family shows. These include the University of Louisville’s men’s and women’s basketball games and a multitude of upcoming concerts and other events. Staff on the arena’s conversion team help transition the venue between events, helping to install and remove the basketball court as well as set up staging and seating for concerts and other types of events.

Andy Frain (AFS), the KFC Yum! Center’s event staffing partner, will be hiring ushers, ticket scanners, suite attendants and event security to support all types of KFC Yum! Center events. And the arena’s food and beverage provider, Centerplate, will be hiring concession and catering employees.

All applicants will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win concert and event tickets and University of Louisville merchandise during the hiring event.
