LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Rob Hawkins joins Independence Bank Trust and Investments as Louisville Chief Investment Officer.
Growing up in Louisville, Rob has worked in finance and investments for over three decades. Working in investment banking in New York City, Rob had the chance to be part of teams that included the current Federal Reserve Chairman and former Secretary of the Treasury.
Since returning to his hometown, he has been leading investment strategies and sharing valuable insight with his clients throughout the U.S. Rob has deep investment expertise in several industries, including information technology, media, communications and healthcare.
Rob also has experience in private equity, venture capital and alternative investments. He often works with entrepreneurs to help them finance, grow and sometimes sell their businesses. Rob, a Chartered Financial Analyst, will lead Independence Bank’s Trust and Investments as a Portfolio Manager and its Chief Investment Officer in the Louisville area.
