Companies represent $2.7 billion in annual revenues
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (April 23, 2013) – EnterpriseCorp, a division of Greater Louisville Inc. – the Metro Chamber of Commerce named 11 fast growth companies to its High Impact Portfolio and presented each with its High Impact Award.
EnterpriseCorp specializes in developing the region’s fast-growth entrepreneurial sector.
Craig Richard, president and CEO of GLI, and EnterpriseCorp Executive Director Bobby Ferreri hosted a reception to showcase those companies that have brought innovative ideas and energy to the region.
“Entrepreneurship is a significant driver of our community’s economic growth and that means jobs,” Richard said. “The majority of our jobs are created by young companies and our efforts to strategically develop these companies better positions Greater Louisville for sustained growth and gives us the opportunity to help grow our next large headquarters company.”
High Impact Portfolio
The High Impact Portfolio identifies and serves fast-growth companies headquartered in the Metro Louisville region. Fast-growth companies are the businesses that create the majority of new jobs and investment in the community, GLI said. Collectively, High Impact companies represent $2.7 billion in annual revenues, have a 36 percent average growth rate, have created nearly 3500 new jobs in the region, and have invested $464 million over the past four years.
The new High Impact companies for 2013 are:
Artemis Electronics LLC specializes in the overhaul, manufacturing and new design engineering that supports contractors for both domestic and foreign militaries worldwide.
CandyRific LLC manufactures fun and novelty candy sold all over the world that is licensed for such big names as Mars, Disney, Warner Brothers, Marvel, Hello Kitty and Superman.
Family Allergy & Asthma is a multi-site allergy practice with offices throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana providing a full range of allergy, asthma and immunology services.
Freedom Metal Inc., which collects and recycles ferrous and non-ferrous metals around homes, neighborhoods, and commercial and industrial areas to help the environment and save energy.
igNew LLC develops and provides custom database driven web and desktop applications using the Microsoft stack of languages and tools.
Integrity HR Inc. provides best practice, custom outsourced HR department services for small and mid-sized companies toward improving workplace productivity and efficiency.
OPM Financial actively works toward client growth by keeping financials in order through entrepreneurial thinking that matches client needs.
Simpak International LLC, through its patented product SimPads, provides a disruptive technology in the protective packaging industry for such clients as LG Electronics, Kohler, Toshiba and Epson.
