Georgetown College naming new president today at 4 p.m.

The Georgetown College Board of Trustees late Friday finalized a decision with regard to a successor to 22-year President Bill Crouch, the Scott County college announced.

Georgetown College’s 24th President will be announced and introduced at a 4 p.m. ceremony on Monday, August 5, in the Ward Room of the Ensor Learning Resource Center on main campus.

The ceremony will include members of the Board of Trustees, Board Chairman Earl A. Goode, Acting President Granetta Blevins, Search Committee Chairman William J. Houston, members of the search panel, and other college personnel on this momentous occasion welcoming Georgetown’s new leader.
