COVINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 7, 2014) — On Aug. 28 local aspiring entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch their business ideas to a group of angel investors who could make their dreams come true. Winners will receive cash prizes and the opportunity to present their business plans to the entire Kentucky Angel Investors Network (Kentucky Angels) in Frankfort, Kentucky in the fall.
This event is one of eight statewide pitch competitions hosted by the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, the Kentucky Innovation Network and Kentucky Angels. Competitions have already taken place in Murray, Elizabethtown, Pikeville, Richmond, Ashland, and Louisville.
Four finalists will be selected to pitch their businesses. Those interested participating must complete the online application form by Aug. 20.
