UofL doctors to discuss impact violence in video games has on children

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 11, 2015) — University of Louisville’s Dr. Christopher Peters and Dr. John McCurdy will present a free presentation at 7 p.m. on Thursday on whether or not video games cause children to be more violent.

Unknown copyThe talk is part of the “Building Hope” community presentation series at Second Presbyterian Church, 3701 Old Brownsboro Rd.

Dr. Peters is a child psychiatrist with the University of Louisville Physicians Bingham Clinic and an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry & Psychology, at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. McCurdy is a resident in the department.
