Event is Monday
CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. (Feb. 13, 2015) — Poet Frank X Walker will present a free reading at 7 p.m. on Monday at Thomas More College in celebration of Black History Month.
Walker, who was named Kentucky’s poet laureate for 2013-14, is the first African American to earn the distinction. Walker, a native of Danville, currently serves as an associate professor of English at the University of Kentucky
The event will also feature an open discussion.
