Small batch Louisville ice cream maker serving up fun flavors

Business is Kentucky Proud

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (April 2, 2015) — Louisville-owned and operated Bernoulli Small Batch Ice Cream has officially launched its website, begun sampling at area events and is expanding its partnerships with area companies interested in new flavors. The company, founded by Brian and Allysan Comstock, is Kentucky Proud and gets many of its ingredients from Allysan’s family farm, local produce markets and homegrown heroes, including honey, sorghum, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and pears

“Bernoulli Small Batch Ice Cream is a super premium craft ice cream manufacturing business,” Brian Comstock said. “This idea started over 30 years ago and we started putting it into action in January of 2014. By March we were making and sampling ice cream at our home with commercial equipment.”

The business has since moved into a space at the Bluegrass Corporate Center in Jeffersontown.

The company intends to sell to consumers via subscriptions for local and regional delivery via pickup, and UPS shipments in dry ice. Initial flavors are: Banana pudding; butter pecan; chocolate; chocolate almond; chocolate raspberry truffle; chocolate chip; cookies & cream; mint ice cream with fudge mint cookies; peanut butter chocolate pretzel; salty caramel pretzel; strawberry; toasted almond; and signature Tahitian vanilla.
