Gov. Bevin makes appointments to boards and commissions

Includes Circuit Judge for the 27th Judicial Circuit

FRANKFORT, Ky. (March 18, 2016) – Gov. Matt Bevin has made appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions.

Danny L. Evans has been appointed to the office of Circuit Judge for the 27th Judicial Circuit, Division 2. Evans, of London, is replacing the Hon. Thomas L. Jensen, who has resigned. The 27th Circuit consists of Knox and Laurel counties.

John Gabriel Pendleton has been appointed to the office of District Judge for the 43rd Judicial District. Pendleton, of Glasgow, is replacing John T. Alexander, who was appointed to the office of Circuit Judge. The 43rd District consists of Barren and Metcalfe counties.

Bradley L. Schneider has been appointed as the Henderson County judge/executive. Schneider, of Henderson, has been appointed to replace Hugh McCormick, who is deceased.

Craig A. Martin has been appointed to the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy. Martin, Georgetown, replaces Joel C. Thornbury, who has resigned. Martin, the director of Professional Practice Development for the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy and the University of Kentucky HealthCare Pharmacy Services, will serve for a term ending January 1, 2017.

Dr. Sean M. McTigue has been appointed to the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Advisory Committee. McTigue, of Lexington, replaces Dr. Laura Stadler, who has resigned. McTigue, an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, will serve the remainder of the unexpired term ending November 15, 2018.

Kenneth C. Moellman, Sr., Barbara D. Weber, Christine Deborah Hering Peluso and Jim J. Schack have been appointed to the 17th Judicial Circuit and District Nominating Commission (Campbell County)

Moellman, Sr., of Alexandria, replaces Tim D. Hardy, whose term has expired. Moellman, retired, will serve for a term expiring January 1, 2018.

Weber, of Alexandria, replaces Darlene M. Schneider, whose term has expired. Weber, a retired real estate broker, will serve for a term expiring January 1, 2018.

Peluso, of Newport, replaces Patricia A. Mader, whose term has expired. Peluso, retired, will serve for a term expiring January 1, 2020.

Schack, of Alexandria, replaces Fred A. Macke, whose term has expired. chack, a real estate broker with ReMax and a farmer, will serve a term expiring January 1, 2020.
