Bike to Work Day encourages Louisville residents to bike to work on Friday

Four meet-and-ride locations available

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 16, 2016) — People who work in Louisville are encouraged to use peddle power for their commute on Bike to Work Day on Friday. Cyclists can bike independently or go to one of four meet-and-ride locations to join group rides.

There will also be an official Bike to Work Day celebration at Fourth Street Live from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants can register here to be entered in a drawing for a free Giant Momentum bicycle donated by Parkside Bikes.

Leading up to the event, Bicycling for Louisville is hosting several fun bike related events. Check out their website here for more information. And why not practice biking to work in the meantime? The Louisville Bicycle Club, our local bicycle education organization, is offering free bicycle education classes.
