HFR Design chosen to develop plan for Murray-Calloway County Hospital

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 4, 2012) — HFR Design-Louisville has been awarded a contract to design a master plan for Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Ky. Partnering with the healthcare-oriented architectural/engineering firm will be Health Strategies and Solutions Inc. (HS&S), a strategic planning firm headquartered in Philadelphia.

Under terms of the new contract, HFR Design and HS&S will develop a comprehensive plan for the renovation of several of the older buildings on the hospital campus, including the rehabilitation center, cancer center and hospice. The goal will be to bring the older buildings up to the level of quality of the South Tower, which was completed a couple of years ago.

Not-for-profit Murray Calloway County Hospital is a community-owned acute care facility. The 378-bed hospital serves Western Kentucky and Northwest Tennessee.

HFR Design-Louisville focuses on healthcare and senior living facility design, planning, engineering and interior design.
